Sylhet is known for its tea garden and the richness of diverse ethnicity and wildlfe. It is one of the main attractions of Bangladesh. The view of the country side is wrapped up in greenery which makes one feel reviving. Due to the tropical climate forests here has abundant of flora and fauna including wild life. It is home of the Monopuri tribal. this valley is surrounded by many streams which provide shelter to the millions of migratory birds who fly from Siberia across the Himalayas during winter season there.

 In the Sylhet city the tourist spot is the shrine of Hajrat Shahjalal (R). Here almost every year millions of people come to visit. Jaflong is another sector of Sylhet surrounded by hills near the border. Here you can enjoy boating along with viewing the collection of stones of Himalaya Mountains flown through the mari river. Lala khal is also one of the canal suitable for your boationg. You can also observe the lifestyle of Khasia tribal people, living in the forest of the hilly areas and the way they protest themselves from the wild animals living there.

Srimongol, the most attractive  place for the tourists, is also in Sylhet. It is also known as “the land of the two leaves and a bud”. Srimongol is the coldest place in Bangladseh. As far as your eye meets the end, you will only see tea garden throughout the area. It is the place where we produce almost half of the tea for our country.  Mdhabkundu is famous for its water fall. It has also plenty of flora and fauna which gives this place an unique environment. The bio diversity of this place cannot be compared to any palces in Sylhet. The tourists should visit this place in order to get the feeling of being closer to nature.
